Inlaid celadon pomegranate and chrysanthemum bowl

Thickly potted, yet with an elegantly rounded form and low profile, the interior inlaid with sprays of pomegranate and chrysanthemum to the cavetto surrounding a chrysanthemum and cloud-collar roundel, the exterior with chrysanthemum roundels amongst scrolling clouds, the base with three stilt marks within a glazed foot-rim, totally covered in a pale celadon glaze with some beautiful peacock blue colour where the glaze pools. Together with an old Japanese wooden box and fitted silk shifuku. 6.25cm high, 20cm diameter.
