In the form of a chrysanthemum flower raised on a high foot, lacquered red and black (the black colour mellowed to a deep brown through age). Long cracks to the lacquer around the rim, old repairs and relacquering around the rim. 6.25cm high, 29.5cm diameter. Together with an old Japanese wooden box.
